Crandall ISD recently celebrated a cherished member of its school family, Ms. Sally Rogers, by dedicating a new Crandall High School café line in her honor. The newly established ‘Rogers Way’ will serve a variety of new and diverse food options, reflecting the district’s commitment to providing quality meals for students.

Ms. Rogers has been an integral part of Crandall ISD for over 25 years, serving with dedication and kindness. Known for her warm smile, generosity, and support, she has touched the lives of countless students and staff members. Her impact on the district has been immeasurable, making ‘Rogers Way’ a fitting tribute to her years of service.

Tim Davis, Director of Food Services, praised Ms. Rogers, saying, “She’s been a smile when you needed it, a late lunch when you forgot to eat, but most importantly, a rock for the past 25 years in good times and hard times.” His heartfelt words captured the admiration and appreciation felt throughout the district.

Superintendent Dr. Murry expressed her joy in dedicating the café line to Ms. Rogers, noting that she deserves even more recognition for her dedication to the students and staff of Crandall ISD. “Ms. Sally has been a constant source of care and support, and we are beyond grateful for everything she has done for this district,” Dr. Murry said.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to commemorate the dedication, attended by the Nutrition staff, school board members, leadership, and Ms. Rogers’ family. The event was a heartfelt celebration of her contributions and an opportunity for the community to express their gratitude.

With ‘Rogers Way’ now serving students at Crandall High School, Ms. Rogers’ legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to nourish and inspire generations to come.
