The Crandall ISD Maintenance & Facilities Department is dedicated to ensuring that all district facilities are safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained to support an optimal learning environment for students and staff.
Our team is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of all school buildings and district support facilities. This includes maintaining the physical structure of buildings—such as walls, flooring, ceilings, windows, and roofing—as well as essential internal systems including:

Mechanical systems (HVAC, ventilation, etc.)

Electrical systems (lighting, power, etc.)

Plumbing systems (restrooms, water fountains, irrigation, etc.)

Life safety and alarm systems (fire alarms, emergency lights, and security systems)
In addition to facility maintenance, our team also assists with moving and relocating furniture, equipment, and classroom materials between campuses as needed—particularly during the school year to accommodate staff transitions, new programs, or facility upgrades.
We strive to respond promptly to service requests, perform regular preventative maintenance, and ensure that all buildings meet district safety standards and compliance guidelines. Our goal is to create welcoming, well-maintained spaces that contribute to student success and staff productivity.
