    Ryan Eskridge has proudly served on the Crandall ISD Board of Trustees for 9 years, bringing both leadership and heart to his role. A dedicated community member and proud parent of three CISD graduates, Ryan is passionate about giving back to the district that shaped his family.

    Ryan is the Vice President of Sales and a high school football referee, combining his business expertise with his love for youth sports. He also played a pivotal role in founding Crandall ISD’s annual 7-on-7 elementary football program, encouraging young students to grow both on and off the field.

    Outside of his board duties, Ryan enjoys golfing and supporting his wife, an award-winning realtor, in her thriving real estate career. Whether he's on the field, in the boardroom, or in the stands, Ryan is committed to helping CISD students, staff, and the entire community become the best possible version of themselves.

    Justin Strain has served on the Crandall ISD Board of Trustees for 2 years, bringing a heart for service and a focus on the future of the district. A retired member of the U.S. Air Force, Justin now owns and operates a small business and remains actively involved in the Crandall community.

    He and his wife, Jodie, have been married for 31 years and are proud parents of three boys. Justin gives back through youth mentorship, serving as an assistant baseball coach with the Crandall Youth Sports Association and a leader in local Boy Scout programs.

    Justin enjoys learning more about the public education system and is passionate about ensuring Crandall ISD gets the most out of its resources. He serves on the board to help make the district better for both current and future students and employees, always striving to support strong schools, responsible stewardship, and a brighter future for all.

    Jennifer Hiser has faithfully served on the Crandall ISD Board of Trustees for 11 years, bringing a deep commitment to education, community, and student success. A proud 1994 graduate of Crandall High School, Jennifer went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics.

    She began her career in education as a teacher, working with students in 4th grade, 8th grade, and high school math. Today, she serves as the Director of Professional Learning for Mesquite ISD and teaches Sunday school at Crandall Church of Christ. Jennifer is a proud parent of two children—one a graduate of Texas A&M and the other about to begin his freshman year at Tarleton State University.

    Serving on the Crandall ISD Board is Jennifer’s way of giving back to the district that helped shape her. She is passionate about using her professional experience and personal journey to advocate for all students, staff, and families. Her greatest joy comes from ensuring every student has access to the opportunities they need to succeed

    Crystal Holmes is in her first year of service on the Crandall ISD Board of Trustees and brings a passionate voice for students, families, and those who may not always have one. With a background in public education and a current role as an Education & Development Manager in corporate learning, Crystal offers a unique blend of classroom and professional experience.

    She and her husband, Chad—a firefighter and fire investigator—are proud parents of two children: their son, a Crandall High School graduate currently attending Stephen F. Austin State University, and their daughter, a current CHS student.

    In addition to her board service, Crystal serves on the Crandall ISD Education Foundation Board and has volunteered in the preschool ministry at C-Life Church for the past 15 years. She is also a dedicated animal rescuer and advocate.

    Crystal’s heart for service drives her commitment to the board. She is passionate about standing up for those who can’t always fight for themselves or their children and believes every student deserves a strong advocate and an equal opportunity to thrive.

    Shad Zamarron is a husband and father of three children who proudly attend Crandall ISD schools. He serves as an Associate Director of Compliance and also devotes his time to coaching youth basketball, where his passion for mentoring and leadership shines.

    Now in his first year on the Crandall ISD Board of Trustees, Shad is honored to play a role in shaping the educational journey of students across the district. He looks forward to making a positive impact and helping equip today’s learners to become tomorrow’s successful leaders.

    Chaffani Ward is a proud Crandall ISD parent whose son will be a senior at Crandall High School this fall. With a career in the dental field since 2006, she currently works at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Chaffani values family, sports, great food, and living life to the fullest. Her parents have been a strong influence in her life, and her down-to-earth personality makes her naturally drawn to connecting with others.

    Now in her first year on the Crandall ISD Board of Trustees, Chaffani is excited to serve the community she calls home. Living in Crandall for the past 3.5 years, she has been inspired by the unmatched Pirate pride and is passionate about contributing to the district’s future. She brings a fresh, modern perspective and is committed to helping guide Crandall ISD through its rapid growth and continued educational advancement.

    Rick Harrell has proudly served on the Crandall ISD Board of Trustees for 12 years and has called this community home since 1979. With deep roots in the district, Rick and his wife—a dedicated CISD teacher for over 34 years—raised three sons who all graduated from Crandall ISD.

    Rick has a passion for architecture and enjoys traveling to small towns across the U.S. with his wife, exploring history and design along the way. His love for Crandall ISD runs deep, crediting the district with helping shape the person he is today. Serving on the school board is Rick’s way of giving back to the organization he believes in, knowing that CISD has the power to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of students and families for generations to come.
