Crandall ISD celebrates substitutes during National Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week, Sept. 5-9

The best sidekicks are the ones who can step in at a moment's notice. Substitutes are ready to help step in and continue the learning process when a teacher cannot make it to school. Crandall has an amazing group of substitute teachers.

The week of September 5-9 is National Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week. A week where every substitute should see how much they are loved and appreciated. Substitute teachers are great at creating an atmosphere of respect with students and other staff members.

Crandall is able to thrive every day because there are substitute teachers who are ready to help whenever they are needed. Crandall’s substitute teachers participate in training so they can ensure they are completely ready for the classroom. There are even substitutes who are willing to step into the classroom for months at a time; as long-term subs, they take initiative so children can continue learning.

They take their job seriously, and CISD could not be more thankful for each of them.

Make sure to give some extra appreciation to our substitute teachers during September 5-9. We are so thankful for all of our substitute teachers!
