Strengthening Our Teaching Practices: Peer-Teaching Event Highlights Collaboration and Growth
Crandall ISD is proud to highlight the success of a recent peer-teaching event organized by the district’s Curriculum Math Support team, Danielle Moore and James Alexander. This initiative provided teachers with a valuable opportunity to collaborate, observe, and refine their instructional strategies while learning from one another.
The event focused on shared professional growth, with experienced teachers modeling effective teaching moves and guiding discussions on best practices. The goal was to equip teachers with new strategies that could be seamlessly integrated into their classrooms, enhancing student learning across the district.

We also commend Ms. Ceron, Ms. Cole, and Ms. Kline for their openness to feedback and their dedication to continuous improvement.
Acknowledging Leadership Support
This event would not have been possible without the support of the Principals, Ms. Scott and Ms. Baker, whose leadership continues to foster a culture of growth and innovation within Crandall ISD. Their commitment to professional development ensures that teachers have access to enriching experiences that enhance their instructional effectiveness.
The Impact of Peer Teaching
Throughout the event, teachers engaged in classroom observations, reflections, and discussions, identifying specific strategies to add to their instructional toolkits. By witnessing best practices in action, teachers gained fresh perspectives and practical techniques to strengthen their instruction.
This peer-teaching event was not only a learning experience but also a celebration of collaboration. As teachers across Crandall ISD continue to support one another in their professional journeys, we look forward to future opportunities that promote excellence in teaching and learning.
