Crandall ISD Earns ‘A – Superior Achievement’ Rating in the State Financial Accountability System

Crandall, TX — Crandall ISD is proud to announce that the district has earned an “A – Superior Achievement” rating under the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for the 2024–2025 school year, based on fiscal data from the 2023–2024 school year. Crandall ISD received a high score of 96, demonstrating exceptional financial management, accountability, and transparency.
The FIRST rating, developed by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), evaluates school districts on key indicators that ensure financial integrity, efficiency, and public trust. The “Superior Achievement” rating is the highest designation a district can earn, signifying that Crandall ISD meets and exceeds state standards for fiscal responsibility.
“This recognition is a testament to our district’s unwavering commitment to protecting taxpayer dollars while supporting high-quality educational programs,” said Dr. Anjanette Murry, Superintendent of Schools. “Our team works diligently to prioritize student needs, maintain transparency, and plan responsibly for our fast-growth district.”
Chief Financial Officer Todd Garrison praised the district’s collaborative approach to financial management, crediting the Business Office team, district leadership, campus administrators, and the Board of Trustees.
