Crandall ISD Announces Campus Meetings for Local Improvement Plans

Crandall ISD will hold campus meetings to review student performance data, discuss goals for student achievement, and gather input from parents, students, staff, and community members. These meetings are part of the district’s ongoing commitment to student success and continuous improvement.
In accordance with state law, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has identified campuses that are required to develop Local Improvement Plans. Under 19 TAC § 97.1061(b)(3)(A)(ii) and TEC § 39.0543(b), campuses assigned an overall rating of “D” must create a local improvement plan, and districts must provide public notice at least 15 days prior to the meeting. This notification must be posted on the district and campus website and communicated through other public channels to ensure opportunities for stakeholder input.
