The excitement was palpable as Crandall Independent School District kicked off the new school year with a smooth and successful first day! From the moment the doors opened, students, staff, and parents could feel the energy of a new beginning. Classrooms were filled with eager learners, and the campus hallways buzzed with excitement as teachers and students reconnected.
This year, Crandall ISD proudly welcomed 181 new staff members, some filling new roles while others stepped in to replace open positions. Along with the fresh faces among the staff, the district also greeted approximately 400 new students, expanding the Crandall ISD family and reinforcing the district's growth and commitment to providing a high-quality education for all.
CISD Superintendent Dr. AJ Murry shared her enthusiasm for the day, saying, "It's always exciting to see the new school year begin, but this year feels extra special. Our theme, 'Believe in the Climb,' is setting the stage for what will be an incredible journey of growth and achievement for our entire district."
From the youngest Pre-K students to the proud seniors at Crandall High School, the first day was filled with smiles, learning, and excitement for the year ahead. Students were eager to dive into new lessons, reconnect with friends, and meet their teachers.
As the district moves forward, CISD remains committed to providing an exceptional education in an inspiring environment, with caring staff and a clear focus on the climb toward excellence. The success of the first day of school has set a strong foundation for a year of learning, growth, and achievement.
Here's to a fantastic school year ahead, Crandall ISD!
