The Crandall Independent School District Library Media Program is dedicated to equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond. Our mission is to empower students to become high-achieving learners, lifelong readers, skilled researchers, and responsible digital citizens.

Across all campuses, our certified librarians and library staff collaborate with teachers and administrators to support academic achievement through access to quality resources and engaging learning experiences. We play a central role in advancing literacy, promoting a love of reading, and supporting student inquiry and exploration through a rich variety of media.

Each campus library is a welcoming and inclusive space designed to:

  • Encourage free choice reading by offering a wide range of books that reflect diverse interests and backgrounds.

  • Provide access to digital tools and research databases that support classroom learning and academic excellence.

  • Develop information literacy and critical thinking skills through structured research instruction.

  • Promote ethical and safe use of information and technology through lessons in digital citizenship.

We are proud to lead the way in reading promotion, instructional technology integration, and resource support aligned with Crandall ISD curriculum goals. Whether students are exploring a new book, completing a research project, or navigating the digital world, the library is here to guide and inspire.
