Teacher Apprentice Program

Do you have passion for education and ready to start a new, rewarding career that impacts students' lives? Look no further! CISD is excited to continue our Teacher Apprentice Program, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team!

As a Teacher Apprentice, you'll have the incredible opportunity to learn from experienced educators, shape young minds, and contribute to the future of education. This hands-on program is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and support you need to become an inspiring and impactful teacher.

Summary: Anyone wanting to pursue a teaching career can now become a Teacher Apprentice in Crandall ISD. A high school diploma or GED is required and evidence of enrollment in college courses. Opportunities with Texas A&M University-Commerce are available with courses for $750 every seven weeks.

Teacher Apprentice:
● Must have a a high school diploma or GED
● Want to earn Bachelor’s degree and then a Texas Teacher Certification
● Have the same responsibilities as teachers
● Will receive Full-time Employee Benefits
● Have a Mentor and Teacher of Record they work with
● Base salary 30K
