District Rezoning & Planning 2025-26
Crandall ISD is preparing to update attendance boundaries for the 2025-2026 school year. These changes include rezoning the district's six elementary schools to serve students in Pre-K through 5th grade, establishing a second middle school a the current Freshman Center for grades 6-8, and moving 9th grade back to the high school.
Working with Davis Demographics, we developed guiding principles to ensure decisions prioritize students’ best interests while accommodating district growth efficiently and equitably. Key considerations include minimizing student moves, keeping neighborhoods together, optimizing transportation, and planning for growth over the next 3-5 years.
