Happy New Year, Pirates! We’re excited to be back with you today. I’m standing in the Crandall High School weight room—a fitting place to kick off the new year. Our theme this year has been about believing in the climb, and as we make this final ascent toward the end of the school year, I want to remind all of our Pirates to finish strong. Reaching our goals takes effort and hard work, just like training in the weight room.

Let’s push ourselves and make this a great end to the 2024-2025 school year. Here are a few important reminders:

• Staff returns on January 6th and 7th for a workday and professional learning to prepare for an incredible second semester.
• Students return on January 8th, ready to learn and grow.

Also, report cards will be posted to Skyward on January 9th. Please take time to review them with your students and help them plan for success this semester.

As we begin this final stretch, I wish all of our Pirates a year full of health, prosperity, and success. Let’s make this semester our best yet. Happy New Year, Pirates!
