Kindergarten

Each spring, Crandall ISD begins registering students entering kindergarten the following school year. To attend kindergarten, students must be five years of age or older on or before September 1.

This early registration process gives parents information to ease the transition into kindergarten and assists the District in planning for enrollment growth and staffing needs.

We offer full day kindergarten for children who will be five years old on or before September 1 at all our elementary campuses.

  • Students need to be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year (proof of birth certificate is required)
  • Students need to live within Crandall ISD

At Kindergarten Round-Up, parents will receive information about your elementary campus, Crandalll ISD, how to help your child prepare for school, and more. For dates and times, check the calendar at the elementary campus your child will be attending. If you have questions about this event, please contact the campus.

New Crandall ISD Kindergarteners: follow the New Student Enrollment Directions. If possible, attend your child's Kindergarten Roundup!

Current Crandall ISD Pre-Kindergarten students do not need to enroll as new students for Kindergarten. Currently enrolled Pre-K students are considered returning students when they are eligible for kindergarten and their files will be automatically transferred to their home campuses (based on address) for Kindergarten. Parents/guardians will receive a Returning Student Enrollment email from the district in late April to update student information. Pre-Kindergarten returning students can enroll on the tab below.
