CISD recognizes holiday greeting card contest winners
Rudolph, Frosty and Santa were all special guests at Crandall ISD’s board meeting Monday night as Trustees recognized the three winners of this year’s holiday greeting card contest.
Open to all CISD students at the district’s five elementary campuses, the annual competition highlights the top three designs submitted from each school. From there, judges choose the final three pieces for placement on CISD’s holiday card.
This year’s winners are:
· First place – Vianney Villa, Dietz Elementary, Grade 6
· Second place – Luke Johnson, Wilson Elementary, Grade 1
· Third place – Beckett Nix, Wilson Elementary, Grade 5
The three artists are given a bundle of the cards for their personal holiday usage. Cards are sent from the superintendent and school board to government representatives, other school districts and associates across the state.
