Facility Naming Proposal

Crandall ISD accepts naming submissions for its facilities year-round. Any member of the public can propose a name for consideration by the district and its school board.

A district facility can include – but is not limited to – a building, school, other structure, or part of a building or complex including the grounds, the library, the auditorium, or athletic fields. The district facility can be new, existing or proposed.

All proposed names will be submitted to the superintendent, who will share recommendations with the Board of Trustees.

In accordance with CISD Administrative Regulations for naming of District facilities, the Board has invited written nominations and the following provisions will govern the naming or renaming of school facilities. Nominations can be submitted at any time.

Please note facilities will generally be named for deceased persons who have made a significant contribution to society as may be deemed appropriate by the board, streets or geographic areas within the district, or historical sites.
