Acceptable Use Policy
Access to the district's electronic communication system is a privilege, not a right. Students and their parents will be asked to sign a user agreement regarding use of these resources. Noncompliance with applicable regulations will result in disciplinary action consistent with the district's policies and regulations. Violations of this agreement may result in the withdrawal of privileges and other disciplinary action.
The district's electronic communication system, including its network access to the internet, is to be used for administrative and instructional purposes only. Electronic mail transmissions and other use of the electronic communications system are not confidential and can be monitored at any time to ensure appropriate use.
Employees are expected to comply with the provisions of copyright law relating to the unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, performance, or display of copyrighted materials (i.e. printed material, videos, computer data, and programs.)
