Dr. Wendy Eldredge was named superintendent of schools for Crandall ISD in June 2019.
Eldredge, a 30-year educator, came to Crandall after serving as Asst. Superintendent of Safety & Operations in Garland ISD since 2015. Prior to that role, she served GISD as Area Director of a K-12 feeder pattern comprised of 10 campuses, and as a principal at two schools and one academy campus. She also served in various capacities researching and developing curriculum. Her career began in Dallas ISD as a teacher and curriculum specialist.
Eldredge has completed several programs at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education including, “The Art of Leadership, School Turnaround, and Leadership: An Evolving Vision.” She is also Regional Director for Raise Your Hand Texas, a non-profit organization supporting programmatic initiatives structured to identify, pilot and scale systemic improvements in public education.
She received both her Doctorate of Curriculum & Instruction and Superintendent’s Certificate from Texas A&M-Commerce. Her Masters in Educational Administration and Bachelor of Science in Education were both earned from Kansas State University.
