April 1

April 1, 2022

Good evening, Pirates.

Calling all Crandall ISD families! We are seeking your input on the future of CISD’s competency plan called, “Portrait of a Graduate.”

Our district has more than 100 years of excellence and we want your help preparing future graduates for another century of success. During the next few months, CISD will bring together students, parents, educators, business representatives and community members to discuss the focus of our schools—above and beyond just the basic academic expectations.

You can help this team recommend real-world competencies that will comprise CISD’s Portrait of a Graduate beyond a standard academic design. Your feedback will provide valuable information and reveal the areas of focus needed for student growth. Please take a moment to fill out the survey—this will only take a few minutes of your time and closes Friday, April 29.

Also, our first bond Town Hall meeting is set next Thursday, April 7, at the Crandall-Combine Community Center. We begin at 6:30 p.m. I will present a general overview, including the three ballot propositions, no CISD tax-rate increase and how it was determined to call for a bond. We will answer questions as well. I hope to see you there.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Pirates forever,

Dr. Wendy Eldredge, Superintendent
Crandall ISD
