Well, Spring Break has arrived and brings with it a sunny and tropical 24-degree wind chill. But rest assured, the forecast shows sunshine and 70s next week, so we have many reasons to smile.
My smiles actually began last Friday when community feedback was received from the Kudos Corner mention in my message. We received news about FFA Grand Champions, teacher shout-outs from Wilson and Noble-Reed families, and statewide honors for students in the Texas Association of Future Educators program. Keep the good news coming our way so we can share even more.
Spring Break also presents an opportunity for our community to learn a bit more about our bond program. I first shared news of the $400-million proposal last month. This flier is a next step in sharing additional news. It shares a bit more about our growth, the three propositions included on the ballot, and that the school district tax rate will not increase with either election outcome.
We are scheduling community meetings to educate and explain more about the bond. Please contact CISD Communications at firstname.lastname@example.org if you or a group would like a presentation.
No matter the clouds outside, Crandall ISD provides us all reasons to be bright. Enjoy your Spring Break, Pirates.
