Retired educators from across the Crandall ISD community gathered on Thursday, February 13, for the latest Quarterly Retired Employee Breakfast—a special event designed to bring together former CISD employees and any retired school district staff living in the area.

The morning was filled with meaningful conversations, district updates, and opportunities to give back. Attendees received the latest news from CISD, wrote encouraging notes to newer teachers, and toured programs, including the Junior Achievement Discovery Center, CHS Cosmetology Class, and the 18+ Class. These programs housed in the Raynes building—formerly used as grade school classrooms—bringing back memories for some attendees who once taught in those very rooms.

Beyond the updates and tours, the heart of the event was the chance to reminisce and reconnect with fellow retirees, both familiar faces and new friends alike.

This quarterly breakfast is a beloved tradition, and the next gathering is set for May 6 at 9 AM. All retired school district employees in the Crandall ISD area are invited to attend. Mark your calendar and sign up here.

Crandall ISD is proud to celebrate and engage with those who have dedicated their careers to education. Don’t miss this opportunity to stay connected and be part of the CISD community!
